[FR] [FR] Sort previews in a more predictable/convenient way (more like Windows)

Problem or Need

I have multiple windows open per application and they usually look similar. The preview sorting isn't very predictable/convenient so that I need to take some time to figure out the right window to select.

If I enable "sort window by date", the order of the previews in the dock keeps changing so I cannot quickly identify the window by position.
If I disable "sort window by date", the order of "window switcher" ("Option + tab") would have a fixed order so that I cannot quickly switch between the most recently used windows.

Proposed Solution

I was a Windows user and so l like the Windows-style window ordering, with a little improvement.

1. Have FIXED ordering for the previews in the dock, maybe in the order of windows creation time or alphabetic order of the window name. The most needed part is the FIXED ordering so that the position is predictable.

If possible, an improvement would be allowing me to order the previews. This is what Windows doesn't have.

2. Keep "sort window by date" for "window switcher" but the current active window should not be the first, but the last, in the preview.
   This is what Windows have and very convenient if I just want to quickly switch between 2 most recent windows. After all, there is no need to select the current active window.

Alternative Solutions

The simplest change that can help me a lot is that "sort window by date" only works for "window switcher". Maybe add an option for that behavior.

Potential Impact

With this feature, I can switch windows more quickly without having to read the content of the preview/window, which they often look very similar.
This is what I don't like macOS the most over Windows.
