Problem or Need

DockDoor is great app - adding better support for multiple spaces would make it even greater.

  1. Ability to drag a preview from another space to current space.
  2. Ability to see what space a window is located in.

Proposed Solution

I have Window A in Space 1 and WIndow B in Space 2. While in Space 1 I hover over the app and see preview for both windows.

  1. While in Space 1 if I click on Window B and drag it I should be able to place it in Space 1 - Currently the space is automatically switched to Space 2 while dragging Window B. The feature request is to add ability to quickly move windows to other spaces just by dragging from the preview to the current space.
  2. Indicator on window previews that are not in current space. For example dim the window preview and place the Space number on top if it so you can see this window is in another space.

Alternative Solutions

Have to drag the window to top of the screen to enable Mission Control and then find the space you want to move it to and drag it to that space. If you have multiple spaces like 5/6 it will become difficult to find the space you want to move it to. My solution you start from the space you want the window in and drag it from the DockDoor Preview.

Potential Impact

Greatly speed up managing windows across spaces and moving them across the spaces. Currently there is no quick way to do this. Specially visually with drag and drop.
