We are currently using a legacy system of Legacy OSSRH, which has the url https://oss.sonatype.org or https://s01.sonatype.org.

A more modern approach is publish artifact to Central Portal and here is a article to explain what is the difference between them.

JReleaser supports publish to both Central Portal and Legacy OSSRH as explained by https://jreleaser.org/guide/latest/examples/maven/maven-central.html#_portal_publisher_api
