- 1 lb ground Italian sausage
- 1 1/2 tsp crushed red pepper flakes
- 1 large onion, diced
- 4 tbsp bacon pieces
- 2 tsp garlic, minced
- 10 cups water
- 5 cubes chicken bouillon
- 1 cup heavy cream
- 1 lb Russett potatoes, sliced
- 1/4 bunch of kale
- In large pot, Saute suasage with pepper flakes in some olive oil. Cook until brown. Drain and set aside.
- Saute bacon, onions, and garlic until onions are soft and begin to brown.
- Mix water with boullion. Add to pot with bacon, onions, and garlic. Bring to boil.
- Add potatoes. Cook until soft.
- Add heavy cream.
- Stir in sausage.
- Add kale just before serving.
