Hi Daniel,

thanks a stack for your response. Having an initial adapter implementation to build upon would be awesome. If you want to drop some code into wetterdienst/provider/meteoswiss, it would be great. Either @gutzbenj or me may be able to pick up the work on it, in order integrate the metadata layer and such.

You're free to use the API. If you want to access the source data directly, you can find the SwissMetNet measurements in a CSV-like format here:

https://opendata.swiss/en/dataset/automatische-wetterstationen-aktuelle-messwerte

There is additional data on the OpenData portal not offered by my API:

Also, MeteoSwiss is currently running a test API for spatial data and looking for feedback:
