Key Presentation Memory Points

  • Agile mantra: Collaboration over separation, continuous delivery over final delivery, and flexibility with accountability over firm, rigid timelines.
  • Cafe Gato is a website marketing campaign for a theoretical cat cafe involving user input and games.
  • Drew (SCRUM Master) will focus on an Events Database, which allows users to create events in the cafe.
    • These events can be seen on the website once validated.
  • Tanisha (Frontend Developer) will focus on a Reviews Database, which allows users to review the food and experience at the cafe.
    • Certain validation requirements and admin controls will prevent spam.
  • Aliya (Backend Developer) will focus on a cat-themed Wordle game with connection to a leaderboard system.
  • AJ (DevOps) will focus on a cat-themed RPG game with connection to a leaderboard system.
    • Point-based and speedrun-timer-based leaderboards for RPG.
  • Weekly plan is tentative, but generally starts with framework, prioritizes getting API/server up early for troubleshooting, and finishing up/testing week 3.

Our SCRUM Board

We've outlined some key points to start with, though others may be added/subdivided from the current drafts for the sake of precision. Like our weekly plan, it is currently somewhat tentative, but what is included in the left three columns will get done.

We have included certain parts on the SCRUM Board that focus on quality testing (peer reviewing, testing for validation, etc.).

Our Notes on Rebecca's Presentation

We were all present for the presentation. Each of us took notes, but mine is already blogged. It includes the notes taken by all of us collectively after comparing notes.
