Data Management requested that certain fields be duplicated across Performance DB to achieve consistency and improve reporting capabilities without disrupting existing operations. After implementing the changes to duplicate fields across the Performance DB, so a separate task is required to remove duplicate columns after completing all the checks and validations. This step is essential to maintain database integrity and ensure clarity in the data schema.
