vsync issue on linux

When trying to adjust the fps to above 60fps it stays at 60 even when uncapped/vsync is off.

My System Specs

• dhewm3 version 1.5.4 non compile version from github. (via luxtorpeda steam)

To Reproduce
-Tried the following command to increase fps via console command
-"seta com_gameHz <>", "seta com_maxfps", and "dhewmsetting"

Expected and actual behavior
the following commands used supposed to increase my framerate same goes with the game setting tried to turn off vsync and no luck

the only workaround is to type "com_fixedTic -1" and vsync should work otherwise would be nice if it worked out of the box without doing the following commands.

dhewm3 (and Doom3 in general) doesn't support more than 60fps.

There is an experimental dhewm3 branch supporting more (see #585) but it's still buggy, for example Multiplayer is completely broken.
