I switched mode after setting SSID from 2 to 3. It works better for me, because that way i still have connection to the ap directly, for example when setting SSID was not working properly (range problem), wrong pw or typo.

If there is no issue with this, i would suggest to have this as default as it's easier to debug, otherwise one loses connection to the AP and has to connect pins to reset the saved settings.

So far it's running fine like this.. Just as an input.

I'm a little against setting this as a default - it opens too much of a security issue.
But I suppose it should be documented for debugging purposes.
