Dynamically filter queries based on previous input

What I have read

What I want to

• I have many project notes, and many package notes which link to the project note using a property "project" in the package notes. Obviously the property "project" is a link. What I want is when I open modal form, select a project which in Modal Form is "note" type, then base on the "project" I selected, show me the packages linked to the project.
• The "project" field as follow.
  
• The "package" field as follow.
  
• The result as follow.
  
• I actually have many packages linked to the project. But It did not show them all.

So how can I fix it? How can I write the dataview query?

It seems you have an array of arrays of arrays. Try adding
.flat() at the end of your query. If it does not work yet, try .flat().flat()

Do you have a JSON export I can test?

Sorry, don't know how to export a JSON file. But my requirement is quite simple, just based on a "note" type field to filter the notes that link to it.

Note: Project A

• Just an empty note, nothing in it.

Note: Package B

• Just has two properties, tags and project.
• Property "project" is a link that links to "Project A"

Question

• It is just that simple, but it cannot run correctly, can not filter out the result I want!
• Maybe it is because the note property "project" is a link, and the Modal form field "project" is a "note" type. So the query "dv.pages("#package").where(p => p.project == form.project).file.link" does not work correctly.
• The question is inside the query: "where(p => p.project == form.project)". Link is an object? Is there another way to rewrite the query?

if you can add a display part to your link
project: "[[Project A]]" change to project: "[[Project A | Project A]]" then the query "where(p => p.project.display == form.project)" should work.
