Similar to the Inventory management, QR codes can be useful in optimising the workflow around the TypeCatalog. Each Type would be assigned its own QR-Code, that can be used in reference collections of manuals. While processing finds, researchers and students use these reference manuals and collections quite often. If a matching type in the collection or manual is found, the QR-code can be scanned and thus the type quickly assigned to the find.

Since working on finds may often require scanning this type while also entering other data about the find in question, it would be more beneficial to the workflow if the QR code could be added from the editing modal. The corresponding relation-input could e.g. have a + and a QR-button for selecting targets.
