Installing Overwitch on an Atomic Distro

Are there any suggested methods for installing overwitch on an atomic distro? I saw a flatpak is in the works..

I tried using distroshelf, but encounter a few errors like this at sudo make install:

/usr/bin/install: cannot create regular file '/usr/local/share/icons/hicolor/scalable/apps/io.github.dagargo.Overwitch.svg': Read-only file system

I looked into the configure file, but it's a bit daunting...

Attempting to run overwitch with a digitakt plugged in and set to 'Overbridge' results in the following (whether running overwitch in the container or as an exported binary):

I wanted to also add that

• I'm attempting to use a Digitakt 1 on the latest firmware (1.52A) in Overbridge mode
• The Digitakt works with Elektroid and is detected by lsusb:

I have just learnt what atomic distros are.

Wouldn't it make more sense to put our efforts into having a Flatpak package instead of fixing the installation on such distros?

I'd imagine so! I've never created a flatpak but the docs make it sound pretty straightforward.

The comment I referenced is two years old, so I wasn't sure if it was still planned.
