     reworked to enable traditional EBP walking
   - Changed RaiseException/TerminateProcess on ESP inconsistency to a catchable
     die() if no C debugger is attached, community opinion from PerlMonks, if
     C debugger is attached, then Win32::API crashes to enable examination of
     process state
   - Added, previously (v0.76_01) 32 bit VC-only stack checking/ESP
     inconsistency now works on 32 bit GCC for __stdcall/__cdecl mixups only,
     not for wrong number of params (C stack overwritten)

     allows some R/W optimizations to the interp struct in the header of Call()
     and simplifies Import vs ->Call differences.
   - API Change, Import now returns a API obj ref, previously it returned a
     1/0 bool scalar
   - API Change, new and Import now check to make sure a sane number of params
     are passed and die otherwise RT#82611 txn-1183194
   - Under undef-ed NDEBUG and/or DEBUGGING, a wrong assert happened in
     my_find_mg on old Perls that need my_find_mg
   - Improved, XSUB Import is down to 0.24 us which is only .02-.03 us longer on
     benchmark vs regular XSUB.
     *internals* TARG is now used and sv_set* instead of allocating new SVs,
     this is the largested drop in time. 2nd biggest time win was getting rid
     of the inefficient implementation of memcopy in MS CRT. Also cpu uops
     reduction around the incoming args loop. A bunch of asm shifts, scales,
     Mod R/Ms, --/++s, and adds were removed by C code modification.
   - TODO REMOVE TEST CODE, alloca was rewritten for Visual C for speed and not
     cause extends of the C stack, this is dangerous so rewrite this with push
     asm ops from template param array in control
   - Fixed, WIN32_API_DEBUG build option now works on GCC
   - Fixed, the "Win32::API a function was called with the wrong prototype..."
     message had a typo

     than on Mingw GCC

   - Fixed/added, alpha Perl 5.6.2 support has been added, ::API will compile,
     will not crash except for randomly threading_fails.t . Many tests fail due
     to prerequities not being met. 00_API.t should pass on 5.6.2 with zero
     failures WITHOUT prereqs. Other tests require Math::Int64 and
     Encode::compat.
   - Removed, distropref workaround for ActiveState's PPM system (AS fixed it)

   - Clarified licensing info. Yes, Win32::API is available with
     GPL 2 / Artistic license.

     use, I hope.

     Why does Cygwin gcc compile an entirely different API_test.dll?
     I checked the tdump of msvc and gcc and the gcc version is
     missing all the kernel32 imports. I don't know why this happens.

   - Now Win32::API should cleanly *compile* on GCC / MinGW
     environment. This has been tested only Vanilla Perl and
     only with Microsoft nmake.
     Test suite does not work with GCC. You can only test that
     Win32::API extension works running manually the t\99_GetProcess.t
     test script.
     This improvement comes thanks to the 0.42 patches I found
     and collected from the internet, though I don't know who
     is the guy that wrote them first. Anyway, thank you!

   - There are problems with current ExtUtils::MakeMaker (6.31 and
     also blead, I believe) version and dmake generated Makefiles.
     I'm trying to understand what to do here.

   - Win32::API::Type now doesn't have a INIT block anymore, that
     seems to be the cause of all evils on this module.
     Please you out there report your findings on this.

   - Last but not least. Current maintainer of Win32::API is now
     Cosimo Streppone (me), cosimo at cpan.org. I'm not very
     skilled on Win32 development, but I'm trying to to work out the
     CPAN bugs queue. Thanks to Aldo for handing me his wonderful
     work maintainance.
