_hsv - Is it possible to link to user filters

I often find that I have long pages that various users need to scroll up and down on to get to information and have started implementing _hsv to enable users to collapse views that are taking up real estate on the page but need at the time. I have been thinking that it might be useful for people to be able to save their preferences some how similar to user filters. Is this possible currently or something that might be an option in the future?

At the moment _hsv will save your selections until the app has been refreshed. It is possible to get it to save the states and when I get some time I'll try and implement this.
