_cpyfrom - Can it be applied to Forms?

Hi all,

Wondering if the key word _cpyfrom is only applicable to Grids or if it can be used to paste a value in a form?

Also saw that the notes about this keyword indicate that both source field and destination field need to be same type - My use case would be to take the Record ID from a view (which can now be automated as a field on creation - thank you Norm) and to paste this text value into a connection field type to select the Record from the list

If this not possible I had thought of using the _cpyfrom to a sincle column grid and combining that with the auto-click feature to create a url with prefilled data parameters which I believe could paste the Record ID into the connection field...

Any thoughts before I waste a whole bunch of time?
