Staff-level full stack engineer. I build complex, domain-specific software fast and own it end to end.
The last three years: a depth-referenced subsurface data aggregation platform adopted by several oil and gas companies. 65,000+ lines solo. The system handles depth-registered image compositing, vector annotation layers, real-time collaborative sync, ML inference with retraining pipelines, and Jupyter integration — built on a 25-slice Redux architecture managing thousands of locally-sourced images and annotations simultaneously within strict enterprise data security requirements. Full AWS infrastructure via CDK, Well-Architected, FTR certified.
Before that: a stochastic trading signal pipeline on Twitter data, a face-swap application, a self-directed research project called Hylomorphic Optics (foundational optical theory for digital interfaces, at the intersection of phenomenology, AST analysis, and UI design), and enough range across unrelated domains to have developed working fluency in fields I've never formally studied.
Most of my development work over the last four years was committed to a private enterprise source control system. The contribution graph here doesn't reflect actual output.
Problems in frontier domains where the solution space hasn't been fully mapped and first-principles architecture matters more than established patterns.
Neuroscience tooling. Pharma research infrastructure. Defense tech. Applied physics. Decentralized mesh networking. Anything that understands aesthetics as a first-class optimization path.
Urbit native. Hoon School 2023, App Academy 2024. I think seriously about decentralized identity, sovereign compute, and what personal computing looks like when the stack is owned end to end.
I think about systems before I think about code. The instinct is to find the underlying structure, marshal adjacent principles, and use the synthesis as a lever. I've been described as a structural analogist — someone who recognizes deep isomorphisms between apparently unrelated fields and uses them to navigate unfamiliar territory faster than specialization alone allows.
