Environment

aide.dev product

Description

AIDE advertises privacy, yet the overall release, deployment and operation of the AIDE software is unclear.

Provide a description of the various parts that are contained in the AIDE binaray (download from aide.dev) and what other parts are used to make it operate. Ideally, a user request from within the AIDE IDE is analyzed and tracked over the different subsystems (rust-sidenav, the relay that sends data to the LLMs etc.).

Example in ASCII:

graph LR
    A[AIDE IDE] <-- encrypted? embedded? --> B[sidecar]
    B <--> D[LLM Provider]
Loading

It must be clarified if the original open sources are used, and what data exaclty is send to which systems.

Reproduction

I've analyzed your request but found no changes to make. Iterate with me in the PR (linked below).
