Create of UIM Menu states it failed but it did not

CRTMNU command is run for a menu. It returns that the menu was not created. check the output and it is created.

@ChrisHird I think the issue here is the EVFEVENT not being found by Code for IBM i - when you have *EVENTF in your command string, C4i will look for this file.

However, C4i does not handle the CRTMNU command correctly - this will be fixed in PR #2926.

I do have the EVFEVENT file in the source library (which is in the library list)? But it does not have the NG4I member as mentioned.

The compilers create/use the EVFEVENT file in the target library (containing the generated object) and not in the source library.
C4i guesses the target library from the CRT-command (except for the CRTMNU command) and uses this to retrieve the EVFEVENT content.

I'm happy to inform you that the PR #2926 containing the change to also handle the CRTMNU command is now merged into master branch. And we have created a prerelease version 2.18.1 for easy testing of the new functionality. Will you give it a spin and verify that your issue is fixed? 🙏

But it does not have the NG4I member as mentioned. The compilers create/use the EVFEVENT file in the target library (containing the generated object) and not in the source library. C4i guesses the target library from the CRT-command (except for the CRTMNU command) and uses this to retrieve the EVFEVENT content. I'm happy to inform you that the PR #2926<#2926> containing the change to also handle the CRTMNU command is now merged into master branch. And we have created a prerelease version 2.18.1 for easy testing of the new functionality.
