It would be interesting to try to make a free course in Coursera or so titled "Introduction to maintaining large codebases" (or similar) and talk about:

  • Static code analysis (with coala ...)
  • Unit-testing, coverage
  • Continuous integration

This is a semi-coala related issue. But would be interesting nonetheless for those interested in something like this.

Wait you can make courses in coursera? Coursera's content is pretty much by universities and colleges. Udemy would be a good alternative.

With their recent structural changes, is this still possible? I haven't read the details, but they are pretty much monetizing and closing their environment from what I understand.

We are currently doing workshops that we record, possibly we can reuse the material to make those courses?
