FeatureRequest/config question: preview of selected file

🙏 Thanks for the plugin. The algorithm is really much better than what I have seen elsewhere.
There is one functionality I really miss from Telescopes fd though, which is a (ideally syntax highlighted) preview of the selected file as in the screenshot attached.

Is it possible to achieve this with some lua-fu, and/or would it need substantial understanding of neovim/s lua api? Where would one start to look?
