Extracting borehole data

Hello,

I am trying to extract the z dimensions of layers based on a coordinate, following this tutorial: https://gemgis.readthedocs.io/en/latest/getting_started/tutorial/55_extracting_well_tops_from_pyvista_meshes.html

My concern is that the output looks a bit wrong? I am also not convinced that the meshes are interacting correctly. For example, I expect to see topsoil near the surface, chalk near the bottom, but I am getting topsoil sandwiched between other layers and at a depth that is much lower than I am expecting.

Could someone give suggestion on how I should approach this?
