ctFit is a placeholder for original ctsem v1 commands, it should have
returned an informative message but a while since I've checked! Check the
current manual and tutorials, you want ctStanfit command instead.

Hey all,
I tried to fit a cross-lagged model for daily life data (EMA) for the
first time, but the output of ctFIT is empty and I' not able to fix this
issue. I would be really happy about any assistance on this issue!
Minimal Reproducible Example
Download "ctsem_test.csv" from
https://github.com/MaurizioSicorello/SDERSvalid_Analysis
library(ctsem)
df_ctSEM <- read.csv("ctsem_test.csv")
persModel_ct <- ctModel(type="ct",
n.latent=3, n.manifest=3,
manifestNames=c("affect_valence_PMcen_scaled", "SDERS_Total_PMcen_scaled", "stressors_PMcen_scaled"),
latentNames=c("affect", "SDERS", "stressors"),
LAMBDA=diag(3),
DRIFT=matrix(c(
"drift_Affect_Affect", "drift_Regulation_Affect", "drift_Stressors_Affect",
"drift_Affect_Regulation","drift_Regulation_Regulation","drift_Stressors_Regulation",
"drift_Affect_Stressors", "drift_Regulation_Stressors", "drift_Stressors_Stressors"
), 3, 3, byrow = TRUE))
persModel_ct_fit <- ctFit(dat=df_ctSEM,
ctmodelobj=persModel_ct,
dataform="wide")
summary(persModel_ct_fit)
In my case, the code returns:
Length Class Mode
0 NULL NULL

Thank you, that solved the problem! In case this is relevant: I reached the outdated manual over "vignette('ctsem')". Best wishes, |

Wow you're right, that is a terrible oversight, the updated manual is also
a vignette but apparently the reference never got changed, will fix!

Ahh it's actually a confusing interaction with the ctsemOMX package, I
guess you have that installed also right?
