It'd be nice to have a written spec for the common message types like chat/text so client authors can can converge on a format.
chat/text
It'd be double nice if this was a little package that validated messages against the spec, for client authors to use while testing.
Of course clients can invent new message types and do whatever they want. But for people who want to converge on a common format, this will help.
