Backlinks not working as expected

When clicking on the backlink within an activity that is connected to my learning map, it takes me to the main course page.

I don't have the Learning Map course format installed and wondered if the link is only works with the course format?

Hi @timboniface , thanks for reporting. This feature should also work without the course format. Two more questions:

• Do you have the setting "Show map on course page" enabled for your learningmap?
• Which version of mod_learningmap and which moodle version are you using?

Hi @ PhMemmel, - I have the setting "Show map on course page" disabled. - I am using the latest version 0.9.11 (2025051500) When I enable the "Show map on course page" setting it does take me back correctly to the position on the course page. But this does raise the question, if you have the setting disabled, that means you can’t technically use backlinks. Can the backlink URL update based on this setting?
