We want Lorepack to be a project where people can contribute without hostility, condescension or harassment, regardless of experience level, background or identity.
- Be direct about code and generous about people. Criticise the design, not the person.
- Assume good faith. Ask what someone meant before deciding they were wrong.
- Accept that maintainers make final calls, and that "no" is a complete answer to a scope request.
- Disagree with evidence: a benchmark, a failing test, a specification section.
Harassment, personal attacks, discriminatory or sexualised language, deliberate intimidation, sustained disruption of discussions, publishing others' private information, or any conduct that would reasonably make someone unwilling to participate.
Report concerns privately to burak@burakdede.com. Reports are handled confidentially. Maintainers will respond as promptly as they reasonably can and may warn, temporarily block, or permanently remove anyone whose behaviour violates this document.
Maintainers who do not uphold this code in good faith are subject to the same consequences as anyone else.
This applies in all project spaces (issues, pull requests, discussions and commits) and when representing the project publicly.
