npm install is no working.

That's probably because it can't find the package.json file. Be sure to be in that folder when you run npm install

If you're running Linux then it could be that the webpack.js isn't in your path.

There are a few ways to solve that, simplest being either to run webpack.js directly from it's directory, or just symlink that file to a bin directory in your path. For example, if you're in the project root directory (React-Redux-Boilerplate unless you've changed it), do:

sudo ln -s $(pwd)/node_modules/webpack/bin/webpack.js /usr/local/bin/webpack

I might be a bit late, but you can install webpack globally and that should do the trick.

Also If you don't have webpack installed globally, you can run it from the node_modules folder

./node_modules/.bin/webpack
