VS crashes, and upon reopening, it reports A previous session ended unexpectedly. Disabling the extension Relative Number 1.6.0 might help.

If you are using VSVim then this feature is now built into that Extension and I suggest using it - otherwise can you provide additional information about what you were doing at the time of the crash, size of file, etc...?
