TYPO3 10.4 introduced on board lazy loading, utilizing HTML5.
With the release of TYPO3 10.4.4, there are zero downloads of LazyFxx 2.0. on Packagist for this version.
The downloads on the TER are negligible.
So the question is:
What is the future of LazyFxx?
As of right now, I can see the following possibilities:
Declare it obsolete, and move on.
Keep maintaining it for future TYPO3 versions.
Shift the focus of LazyFxx towards something else.
It's nice to transform uploaded images into something that integrates better into your colour scheme of the site. But is there even a demand for this?
Any suggestions for this are more than welcome 😃
