Progress to include Hardware to meshtastic firmware stales

Will hardware support still be included in Meshtastic?
Your pull request "meshtastic/firmware#7579" has now been given the status “Stale.”
It would be great if you could take a look at it.
I am already using four nodes based on your design and would be happy if the newer firmware could be used directly via the next releases.

I'm happy to hear someone has built this and presumably is finding it useful! It looks like I also missed the stale notice and now my firmware PR is closed. I'll try to get it re-opened and then, perhaps some comments that others are using this will help get the Meshtastic folks to at least merge my PR. I'm not sure how many users it will take to get them to release binaries or if most users are able to build their own firmware or not. I may have to maintain images here, at least for a while. Please let me know if you need updated firmware and which branch or tag you would want.

Michael, How did your builds go? Do you have any feedback on my build instructions? Have you made any interesting changes or improvements in your builds? Feedback is always appreciated!

Apart from installing a MINI GPS module, I did nothing other than what was described in your instructions. I think the design is absolutely fine, and everything is easy to understand. I just installed the whole thing in a small plastic distribution box with an N connector and put an Alfa antenna on top of it.

Hope your PR is slowly making its way into the sources.
From what I've read, all that's missing is a "check label".
I took a look at the whole thing in vsCode to test it out and compiled my own updated firmware.
Everything works very well.
I couldn't wait. :)
