🐞 Issue: Inaccurate Country Codes (Non-ISO 3166-1 alpha-3)

Summary

The country codes for the following countries do not conform to the official ISO 3166-1 alpha-3 standard. The current codes use non-standard abbreviations (often common in sports, like IOC/FIFA codes) instead of the officially assigned ISO 3166-1 codes.

Affected Data and Proposed Fix

Below are the Current (Incorrect) codes and the Official ISO 3166-1 alpha-3 codes that should be used:

Country Current Code (Incorrect) Official ISO Code (Correct) Note
Bahrain BRN BHR BRN is the official code for Brunei Darussalam.
Monaco MON MCO MON is used by the IOC and FIFA.
Netherlands NED NLD NED is used by the IOC.
Saudi Arabia KSA SAU KSA is used by the IOC and FIFA.

Impact

Using non-standard country codes can cause integration issues, data validation failures, or errors in systems that strictly rely on the ISO standard for country identification.

Action

Update the affected country codes in the codebase to use the official ISO 3166-1 alpha-3 codes listed above.
