How do I use smb with vorta?

Well I tried adding smb folder as backup repo but it didnt work.

This is the log of vorta. I can access smb directory using Dolphin

I never tried this, but your path seems wrong. Don't you need to mount the Samba folder first? Look like you just set the repo to smb://. This won't work because Borg isn't a Samba client.

@veuxit You have different options, when you want to use a samba share for your backup:

1. mount the samba share automatically, when booting (using fstab)
   or
2. using Pre-backup and Post-backup shell commands in Vorta (in Vorta>Schedule>Shell Commands) to

• mount the samba share before you create the backup (pre-backup)
• use the mounted path/ folder for your repository (the system path, no "smb:" involved)
• unmount the share after the backup has been created (post-backup)
