installed in a not-root-folder and nothing happen on registration

I have a doubt: does it work if I install it in a subfolder?
I success with the installation process (that mean the database is ok), but if I use the registration form, nothing happen clicking the register button.
It just seems to load a page for 1 second, than it stops and the register form still there, with empty fields.

is it a subfolder problem?

you can get it to work with "" as the $websiteUrl but... I haven't found out how to install it to a subdirectory of the main site yet.
