Can't select models on the bottom of the list

Can't scroll the list, can't pull it up by grabbing the top part to show more of it. The models on the bottom of the list aren't visible and can't be selected.

simply tap on the "expansion handle" to expand

That surprisingly worked. I thought I tried everything but clearly not. I think it really looks like something to grab and swipe not tap (like a button). The list becomes scrollable when expenses but it's not scrollable in the compact view. Furthermore, when i expand the list the handle looking button will go all the way up and get obstructed by the camera cutout. I doesn't close by pulling down or tapping the handle again but it does close down by doing the back android gesture. All in all seems like everything works but it's a little hard to figure out how to use.
