Is there any improved version?

I have been looking for a solution like yours to have a scheduled test for my dns forwarders, I've downloaded the code and tested it, but it seems that only the target_gen is working.
Do you have any improved version of this? I can fork the code and progress from there, but I'd be happier to contribute to yours.
