Having access to the R package did has made my life so much easier in terms of analysis. My models contain 700k properties (each spanning 7 treatment years) and 3 covariates and I cluster on a geographic neighbourhood. This complexity and size means that the models take about 4 hours to estimate, and then 2 hours for the various summary measures. This is my understanding, looking around some of the issues discussed here, that whilst the CRAN version of did (2.1.1) does not support parallelisation, the version here on github does? Unfortunately my work is done is a secure environment with no access to the internet. All R packages are made available through something called Artifactory. Do you know when the parallelised version of did may appear on CRAN? Thanks.

Hello,
Having access to the R package
did
has made my life so much easier in terms of analysis. My models contain 700k properties (each spanning 7 treatment years) and 3 covariates and I cluster on a geographic neighbourhood. This complexity and size means that the models take about 4 hours to estimate, and then 2 hours for the various summary measures. This is my understanding, looking around some of the issues discussed here, that whilst the CRAN version ofdid
(2.1.1) does not support parallelisation, the version here on github does? Unfortunately my work is done is a secure environment with no access to the internet. All R packages are made available through something called Artifactory. Do you know when the parallelised version ofdid
may appear on CRAN? Thanks.Beta Was this translation helpful? Give feedback.
