At midgame, we can research a Simple Storage Network, but to fully utilize this mod, we need to craft an "Operation Upgrade", for which a redstone comparator is required. To craft a redstone comparator, we need quartz. However, obtaining quartz requires Advanced Engineering 2 (AE2), and once we have AE2, the necessity for Simple Storage Network diminishes.
