Strange persistent 499 error

First - thanks a million to Bernhard and all contributors for this very useful software! Very much appreciated!

I have used the Docker image for a couple of month now on an RPi3. Suddenly last Tuesday, Oct 4, evening, it stopped working and I started to get 499 errors (first time ever I got this error, so I had to look it up first). A quick test from the command line showed the same problem:

curl -X POST -H "Content-Type: application/json" 'http://localhost:8080/v2/send' -d '{"message": "Test via Signal API!", "number": "+49xyzxyzxyz", "recipients": [ "+49abcabcabc" ]}'

{"error":"Error while checking account +49xyzxyzxyz: StatusCode: 499\n"}

I could not find the cause for this problem so far. Has anyone else encountered this problem?

No changes were done to the RPi config / OS prior to this problem. It sits in a corner and works ... no special configs, no special anything ...

Any pointers how to fix this problem are highliy appreciated.
