Quick question about local_strict

I noticed the project isn’t using Rails’ local_strict option yet. Since this is a relatively new feature, I was wondering whether that’s a conscious design decision or mainly a historical reason (i.e., the feature wasn’t available earlier and enabling it now would be costly in a mature codebase).

Not suggesting any change — just trying to understand the context and past discussions around it.
