Yeah, using my Fizzy to organize Christmas presents, feels kinda scandalous to have a maybe-column there :) |

The open Maybe? column is central to the concept — it's staying. It's only been 24 hours, I'd encourage you to live with it for a while. Took some people at 37signals some time to get used to it, and then it becomes second nature and preferred. Your mileage may vary, of course, but I'd encourage you to put some mileage on before writing it off. |

I agree, my Maybe column is literally empty now. All work has been allocated and for a long time everything will take place in four other columns with specific names. It would be helpful to see three at the same time or at least two. Unfortunately I can see only one of them while the empty Maybe column is always visible. I understand that guys aimed to rethink the kanban concept, yet its value for me comes from the spatial visibility of information. Now the information feels hidden in drawers instead of being clearly visible. Really, really great work, but this unfortunate omakase concept... |

I was giving it a try to Fizzy with the whole Idea of starting fresh moving only the needed parts from an old bloated trello. I entered here trying to find a solution and found this topic. :) Thanks! |

In my team, some people deal more with task execution while others deal more with task management and refining. For the former, a To-do column is the most important and the Maybe? column might pollute the information space. For the latter it's the opposite. Allowing us to collapse the Maybe? column would help with focus.
