  • Working example on how to run this on GPUs and performance results of CPU vs GPU with HEP data

    Overdue by 2 year(s)
    Due by April 28, 2023
  • We have a docker image hosted on docker hub which can run all the three (HEP, CFD, csv) examples out of the box. We also provide instructions how to run this on a distributed computing system.

    Overdue by 2 year(s)
    Due by March 28, 2023
  • Before the CHEP conference we have published meaningful results obtained with baler: * Reconstruction performance compared to PCA * Compression with mass vs compression with energy * Proof of concept on CFD data

  • The usability of the software is where we want it to be when we make it open source and market it at CHEP. This means that for example: * Nice workflow for new users: Pre-processing, Config, Training, Compression, Deompression, Evaluation, Analysis * Working examples for HEP, CFD, and .csv data * Works on Mac, Linux, Windows * Open sourcing concerns
