Kills but no credit

Sorry to bother but I have been asking around in Dojo, et. al and can't get an answer. I recently joined Brave and my first defense kill was on September 5th. I received credit for that kill with no issues.

Since then, I have had 6 more defense kills for which I have not received any credit. The 6 kills were in defense systems according to the map linked in Brave Bucks, in groups of less than 20, and against ships or non-empty pods.

My initial thought was it was because I am EWAR pilot but my first kill against an Astero was also EWAR only and I received credit for that one with no issues.

I am sure that there is something I am probably missing on my end, but if so can you help me understand what it is?

The app (the version that is deployed for Brave) only recognized kills in systems with ADMs (Active Defense Multiplier) below 4.
