how to inject my own http connector to your aws-sdk-s3?

Hi,

I would like to inject my own http_connector to the s3 client/configuration, the reason is to enable socks5 and also CA root certs through rustls, I saw this example in your docs:

but this is not working, I can't find ConnectorSettings, I tried importing aws-smithy-runtime-api and aws-smithy-runtime but ConnectorSettings is still missing.

From the docs:

This crate is no longer used by smithy-rs and is deprecated. Its equivalent logic is now in aws-smithy-runtime-api and aws-smithy-runtime.

I would like to know if aws-smithy-client is deprecated, then what is the alternative?

The 0.57 release is going out to crates.io literally as we speak—ConnectorSettings will then be in its final home in
aws_smithy_runtime_api::client::http::HttpConnectorSettings;

Not sure which part of the API you are asking about so here are two examples: in our CI this test specifies using our WASI http_client: https://github.com/smithy-lang/smithy-rs/blob/b34250611c130cb71715ae68e8c6fae86c72677f/tools/ci-cdk/canary-wasm/src/lib.rs#L32 and here is the implementation of that http_client: https://github.com/smithy-lang/smithy-rs/blob/b34250611c130cb71715ae68e8c6fae86c72677f/rust-runtime/aws-smithy-wasm/src/wasi.rs#L53
