Inquiry: Any plans to replicate new strict-send pathfinding from Horizon?

Not an issue but a question. Do you have plans to replicate the new strict-send pathfinding feature in Horizon (related to CAP-24)?

New pathfinder in Horizon seems to have some bugs (https://github.com/stellar/go/issues/1678) while Astro has been going strong. Wondering if you're going to expand to the reverse pathfinder in the future.

@marcinx we definitely plan to support pathfinding for both kinds of path payments when corresponding operations will be available on the network.

We're also exploring the idea of multipath payments, where the payment amount is split between several path payment operations executed as a single transaction. For example to send 100USD using XLM it's often cheaper to send 40 over XLM->USD, 30 over XLM->BTC->USD and 30 over XLM->ETH->USD and consume the best offers from all 5 orderbooks at once. It looks like for certain assets and payment amounts such multipath payments result in a much better final rate, comparing to any single path payment.
