Description

It would be nice to be able to use github scheduled reminder to receive notifications on PR updates/comments/review request/ etc directly on slack in real-time.

However, when trying to configure it, I get the following message

Impact

I believe that the integration with the argoproj project will drastically increase the responsiveness of argoproj members and increase the overall velocity of the project.

I am not sure about this. For me this means that I would a lot more notifications. GitHub notifications have been very effective to me already.

You have the control to mute the notifications in slack if the extension is configured, in addition to the configuration you can have in the GitHub settings.

I think we should give the ability to the members to decide how they want to be notified and let them choose what works best for them.

Sure, if many others also want this, we can try it out. We'll need to ask CNCF to install Slack integration and connect to Argoproj GitHub org.
