Can't change flash size

I'm trying to change flash size to 8MB using platformio_override.ini and [env] or [env:tasmota32_base]:
board_build.f_cpu = 240000000L
board_build.f_flash = 40000000L
board_build.flash_mode = qio
board_build.flash_size = 8MB

Still get "HARDWARE: ESP32S3 240MHz, 320KB RAM, 4MB Flash" after compiling start.
Where should I do the configuration for my board ?

While I have no direct answer, my experience is that a build saying 4MB Flash works fine on a board with 16MB of flash. Thus, I've not worried about changing that parameter.

Yes, you are 100% correct !
After some testing, I noticed that the "4MB Flash" I got, is NOT the hardware flash-size, but the max. allocated app-size in flash.
So after tuning the partition-csv file, I now got: HARDWARE: ESP32S3 240MHz, 320KB RAM, 3.38MB Flash.
Anyways, very missleading...
