Empirical chart recommendation: ChartAdvisor

ChartAdvisor is the empiric-driven chart recommendation lib of AVA. Beside recommendation, it also contains a chart lint component named Linter.

Both the recommendation and lint processes are based on empirical Rules.

For a given dataset, ChartAdvisor will compute the score through every type of charts among those rules, and output the most influential one.

The pipeline of ChartAdvisor can be illustrated like this:

Besides, user are also allowed to input a manual chart. In such cases, the Linter component will be employed individually. It will compute how the input chart can fit those empirical rules, then fix the errors or give feedbacks to user.
