The extension currently does not seem to support VS code on Windows.

I would like to open this feature request for that.

Hi @Spenhouet — thanks for the issue!

This is definitely something for us to take a look at. The root factor here is that the VS Code extension leverages grype, which also doesn't yet support Windows. I think there's a strong case to be made for grype to support Windows, too, so I think it'd be worth us investigating this soon.
