I'm using Algolia autosuggest for 4 custom post types only.

What did you expect to happen?

I want to list the autosuggested results by relevance without grouping by post types.

What happened instead?

It's listing the results by relevance, but in different post type groups.

How can we reproduce this behavior?

It's a basic behavior of the plugin.

Can you provide a link to a page which shows this issue?
Currnetly it's in local.

Technical info

  • WordPress version: 4.9.8
  • Algolia Search plugin version: 2.11.2

Hello,

Thanks for reaching out,

If I correctly understand, you would like to avoid grouping results by post type in the autocomplete dropdown?

If so, you could use the searchable posts index as the source of the results and configure that as only source in Algolia Search -> Autocomplete.

Does that help?

Thank you for your help. It does help, but sadly it's listing all the post types as a result, not just these 4 a want. I cannot make the others unsearchable, because the main search of the page is searching in every avaible content. But I only need autocomplete for this knowledgebase of 4 post types.
