When I was using the addo command, reading through the UG, you have added d/DETAILS accept values in the form of [quantity]:[description].
A better reference is provided as a screenshot:

As your UG states that square brackets are optional, it might be confusing to the user.

Justifying this point, it might seem that the quantity and description are optional, but in your application, it is not.
