Allow displaying (e.g.) "Show [10] records" instead of just "Show [10]" #56

It would be nice to have the ability to have the more readable (and grammatical) "Show x records" instead of just "Show x". With "records" appended, it is immediately obvious what the control does, while without it you have to think about it a moment or two.
